About Dr. Jessica Devera
Dr. Jessica DeVera (Dr. D) was born and raised in San Diego and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara before completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Western University of Health Sciences. While there, she received the Dean’s Award and volunteered with organizations such as CDA Cares Foundation and the Special Olympics.
The daughter of a Navy Veteran, Dr. D is passionate about serving the Veteran community. She completed her General Practice Residency at the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System and Stanford Hospital, gaining advanced training in implant placement and dental surgery. After practicing on the East Coast, she returned home to San Diego to continue her career in family and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. D is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association.
Outside the office, she enjoys cheering on the Padres, spending time with her nephew, cycling, traveling, and vintage shopping.

Overall was a great experience all the way around. Friendly and professional front desk staff, Dr Devera was polite, professional, and took plenty of time during the appointment and made sure to answer all the questions I had. Would highly recommend both Dr Devera and the office.

The office is very well organized and flexible with scheduling. Dr. DeVera has such a skilled hand. I trust her completely with my teeth and my family’s as well. She’s super sweet, welcoming, and you can really tell she cares about her patients and making sure they understand their treatment.
