About Dr. Jonathan Wu
Dr. Jonathan Wu was born in Fairfax, Virginia, and was raised in Tokyo, Japan, for 10 years before returning to the States. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in Biology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University in Washington, DC. Upon graduation, he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society that recognizes those with exceptional academic achievement. He then moved to New York City, where he completed further training at Bellevue Hospital's General Practice Residency Program.
Dr. Wu is fluent in Mandarin and Japanese and is recognized by his colleagues as a compassionate and reliable dentist. He offers a wide range of dental services, including general dentistry, implant placement, cosmetic work, and Invisalign. He always ensures his patients’ concerns are addressed and provides solutions tailored to each individual. He strives to create a comfortable environment for his patients and helps relieve anxiety for those who may have dental phobia. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, weightlifting, trying new restaurants, and watching movies and TV shows.

My first appointment, saw an associate. Very nice/fancy office. Really felt like they saw dollar signs when I walked in… they shamelessly recommended so muchwork done that I've never had a dentist ask (like capping a chip that's been fine for over 10 years and other cavities)- her bedside manner I found to be extremely off-putting, discouraging. staff doing tiktoks in the hallway. Definitely looking for a more trusting relationship with a small practice

I called ahead of time to tell them I’d be a tiny bit late and they were nice about it. I was seen within 10-15min after signing in. Prep, x ray, cleaning, and exam (by the dr was extremely short) were good. Everything went well since i only wanted the cleaning. The only thing is how my insurance quoted this office nearly 470% more (under insurance) for a possible future procedure that costs significantly less (without insurance) at many other providers (under the same diagnostic code). I need to investigate this much further. This is either the issue with this office or my insurance.
