About Dr. Justin Grant Johansen

Dr. Justin Grant Johansen (Dr. Grant) is a native Arizonan and a graduate of Chandler High School. Dr. Johansen then obtained his DMD degree at A.T. Still University Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. He also earned a master’s degree in public health from A.T. Still University. There, he had many opportunities to work in community health clinics and learn from some of the best clinicians in Arizona and around the country. His favorite clinic was in downtown Phoenix at the CASS (Central Arizona Service Shelter). During his clinical rotations around the nation, Dr. Johansen honed his clinical skills in order to provide a safe, painless, and quality dental experience for all types of patients. Continuing education is vitally important. Since graduation, Dr. Johansen has earned certification in Tip-Edge orthodontics and Spark clear aligners. Dr. Johansen is very knowledgeable, patient-focused, and caring, and he always has each patient’s best interest at heart. He is a very good listener and truly cares for each of his patients. We assure you that you are in good hands with him! The Personal SideDr. Johansen has an amazing wife, Kara, and three children. Kara is a Dental Hygienist. Together they serve the community here at Johansen Dental. He also enjoys all types of sports, including soccer, wake surfing, snowboarding, golf, tennis, and biking. His favorite sport is volleyball, and he regularly plays in tournaments. He has participated in the Phoenix marathon for over five years in a row. Puerto Penasco, Mexico is his favorite vacation spot, and he has been going with his family since childhood. Dr. Johansen serves the community through his church service and volunteering.
