Dr. Khashayar Changi is a Board-Certified Periodontist. He graduated from Columbia University with a specialty on Periodontics and Implantology. Dr. KC, as he likes to be called, is proficient in both surgical and non-surgical periodontal treatment modalities. He also has extensive instruction and experience in all facets of oral implantology including immediate and delayed implant placement, guided bone regeneration surgery and management of implant-related disease.
His commitment is to provide the best preventative and necessary care to his patients. His positive attitude and excellent bedside manners makes him a very trusting and caring Doctor.
On his free time, Dr. KC likes to travel, wine tasting, and skiing in wintertime. He is fluent in English, Persian and has some knowledge of German.

I was referred by my dentist for receding gums. The pre-appointment paperwork took over 20 minutes. I was seen promptly, but then informed the periodontist was on vacation—a planned trip I should’ve been told about. I had noted multiple times that I have high dental anxiety and need each step explained to help me cope. I was told I needed 14 x-rays, which became a traumatic experience. The device repeatedly triggered my gag reflex, and despite asking for breaks and adjustments, the tech seemed rushed and dismissive. I was in tears, and no one acknowledged my distress. When I asked what the next step was, I was told it had already been explained, and the clearly annoyed tech said they were a temp. I asked to end the appointment, and the tech followed me to the front, saying the next visit would be better. I will be finding a new provider who communicates better and prioritizes patient care.
