Dr. Paola Berrios Merced, DMD, was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where her dedication to excellence began early. A competitive swimmer in her youth, Dr. Berrios graduated Magna Cum Laude in both her undergraduate studies and her Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Puerto Rico at Rio Piedras, exemplifying her commitment to academic and professional excellence. Following dental school, Dr. Berrios completed an intensive two-year residency in Advanced Education in Dentistry at NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn. During this residency, she received advanced training in oral rehabilitation, dental implants (both surgical and restorative), and Invisalign, equipping her with the expertise to provide comprehensive and innovative care to her patients.
Dr. Berrios' dedication to serving others has been a cornerstone of her career. Early on, she recognized the importance of providing dental care to underserved communities, inspiring her to volunteer as a dentist in Colombia and Guatemala. She has also offered pro-bono treatments to veterans, incarcerated individuals, and immigrants, demonstrating her deep empathy and commitment to making a difference.
Dr. Berrios strives to deliver high-quality dental care while creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for every patient. Fluent in both Spanish and English, she connects with patients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring clear communication and personalized care. Outside the office, Dr. Berrios enjoys spending time with her friends and family. They do not explain your dental out of pocket costs very well. Showed up for my appointment and it seemed that they didn't plan on doing any of my procedure. Doctor was not ready.

I am not sure they were suppose to call in a perception but store has not received it I told staff that I had hearing loss but they still talked very softly so it was hard to understand everything they said. I got so many reminders it was crazy
