Dr. Subea Hijazi is the dedicated owner of TORC Dental, bringing with him a global perspective, a deep well of clinical expertise, and a heart for patient-centered care. Originally from the Middle East, Dr. Hijazi spent his early life between Saudi Arabia and Syria. He graduated from dental school in 2002 and went on to complete a Master’s Degree in Oral Surgery in Syria in 2005, followed by a second in 2007. His passion for advanced care then led him to Austria, where he earned a Master’s degree in Dental Implants in 2010. Dr. Hijazi’s journey eventually brought him to the United States, where he pursued his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Rutgers University. He practiced in Washington, D.C., before falling in love with the Texas Hill Country and making Austin his home. In 2024, he purchased TORC Dental, with a vision to create a practice that blends world-class care with a warm, approachable patient experience. For Dr. Hijazi, dentistry is more than a profession—it’s a calling to improve lives. He’s passionate about helping patients overcome fear, rebuild confidence, and transform their outlook on dental care. Whether through relieving pain, restoring function, or enhancing aesthetics, he believes the smile is the most powerful accessory anyone can wear. And when a patient simply says “thank you,” he considers it the most priceless reward of all. Outside the dental chair, Dr. Hijazi is a proud father of two daughters and a true lover of life. He’s a sports enthusiast, an outdoorsman, and a self-proclaimed foodie who’s always on the hunt for new local dining gems. He also enjoys listening to podcasts on economics and politics, staying curious and engaged with the world around him.
