Dr. Yuan (Amanda Perry) Hong, PsyD

Dr. Yuan (Amanda Perry) Hong, PsyD

Psychologist
CA
I am accepting new patients. Please call for a free consultation. It takes an incredible amount of courage to admit our own insecurities and difficulties. To seek help through therapy requires even more determination and strength. Therefore, I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment and work together collaboratively to achieve your mental health goals. My clinical training and personal experience as a first-generation immigrant have made me mindful of the numerous risk factors unique to ethnic minorities and recognize the importance of providing culturally-sensitive care. I also specialize in treatment for those who struggle with both psychological and medical illnesses. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree from the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Rutgers Behavioral Health and my post-graduate training at The Guidance Center and Miller’s Children’s Hospital. I predominantly work with children, adolescents, and young adults and have conducted therapy and assessments in various settings, including outpatient clinics, community mental health clinics, schools, and pediatric hospitals.
