“Dr. Anderson is awesome! He has diagnosed and treated fingers on both my hands. I can never thank him enough for the quick diagnosis and treatment. Surgery, follow up appointments, and therapy were all scheduled and coordinated within a few days of my visit. His staff is incredible.”

About Dr. Aaron Anderson

Board-certified, fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeon Dr. Aaron Anderson joined Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute in 2007. His practice focuses solely on the upper extremity (the shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist), which allows him to focus on very complex problems that others cannot tackle. From microvascular issues to large joints concerns, Dr. Anderson is dedicated to helping people get back to full health. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, he went on to attend the University of Michigan Medical School to earn his Doctor of Medicine degree. After medical school, he completed an orthopedic surgery residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, followed by additional specialty training through an orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Anderson is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery with a certificate of added qualifications in surgery of the hand. Dr. Anderson is available to see patients at our Chesterton, Portage, and Crown Point offices.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The Dr. was funny and answered all my questions. I feel confident in his abilities and am looking forward to healing and getting life back to normal.
