What should a new client know about working with you?

Trust, empathy, and a strong relationship are essential to therapeutic success. I strive to provide a space in which clients can feel safe to be genuine and vulnerable. Commonalities underlying my therapeutic approaches are: 1. Identifying and eliciting challenging thoughts, emotions, and beliefs, and how they impact your interpretations of yourself and the world; 2. Learning ways to either reshape these interpretations, or loosen how deeply they impact your sense of self; 3. Implementing incremental actions that produce tangible outcomes and are aligned with who you are and who you want to be. Creating deep, lasting change is often a slow and challenging process. I will work with you through the ups and downs, and strongly believe that such transformations are worth the effort.
