What should a new client know about working with you?

You can come with questions, mixed feelings about medication, or no clear idea of where to begin. My role is to help you understand your options. We’ll discuss what medication could help with, possible side effects, and other approaches, including therapy. Your preferences and concerns are part of those decisions. I welcome adults 18 and older, including college students, parents, and professionals managing demanding lives. I also enjoy supporting people through pregnancy, postpartum, and other reproductive life changes. Video appointments are available throughout California, with evening and Sunday options.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Your first appointment is a 45-minute conversation about what’s bringing you in, the symptoms affecting you most, your history, and your goals. We’ll talk about what you hope treatment might help you do or feel differently, and where you’ve felt unable to move forward. We’ll discuss treatment options and agree on next steps together. During 30-minute follow-ups, we’ll review what’s helping, what remains difficult, and whether your plan needs adjusting. If you’re interested in therapy, we can discuss how to incorporate it into your care.
