Dr. Pihokken really put me at ease with his approach to evaluation, assessment, and care advice. He was methodical, calm, and reassuring, especially when dealing with the sensitive subjects his specialty manages. In fact, many specialty surgeons are abrupt in their communication and personality; Dr. Pihokken, on the other hand, is thorough and pleasant.
For icing on the cake, N.P. Jenny (whose last name I didn't catch) was equally kind and caring, and I feel very comfortable working with her in my care plan as well.
Overall, it was a good experience, and I actually look forward to starting my care plan with him.

I’m Chinese so I’m so glad they have someone who also speak mandarin in their office to help me translate some of the professional words. The entire team are very friendly and helpful. I took the Rubber band ligation the same day as my treatment, and it was a very quick and smooth process without pain. So I highly recommend Adam Charles Pihokken, MD and his team.

Staff was lovely, as were the nurse/nurse practitioners, office was nice and I hardly waited to be seen. I was feeling nervous about my appointment and everyone was understanding and calming. Dr. Pihokken has great bedside manner, explaining everything in detail, and answered all my questions. Never felt rushed, and felt very comfortable despite it not being the most pleasant kind of examination.

Dr. Pihokken and his team are great. My issue is sensitive and they made me feel at ease. The explanations were thorough and game plan sensible. I usually prefer female providers but felt comfortable with Dr. Pihokken and team. I was also very late due to a meeting running over and the practice was very accommodating and still saw me quickly after I arrived. Front desk team also very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Pihokken is exactly the sort of doctor you’d hope to see when things go wrong with your plumbing.
I started crying in his office today (my second visit to him) out of frustration with the generic advice and dismissive attitudes of other CRS I’ve been to for my issue. He listened empathetically, and I know he understands. He is solution-oriented and will devote his time and efforts to “get to the bottom” of your issues. He will educate you without being condescending or a mansplainer.
I picked Dr. Pihokken blindly based on his 5-star Zocdoc reviews. They are well-earned. I won’t go to anyone else.

He was a kind, empathetic listener - which is exactly the type of doctor you'd hope a CRS to be! He did not diminish my pain or overwhelming anxiety caused by it. After a terrible experience with another provider in the same field, I was hesitant to reengage over my chronic issue. I wish I had found Dr. Pihokken initially. He was empathetic, a clear communicator and listener. He took his time to listen to me and then explain the medical issues and to provide multiple treatment option while explaining their chances of success and potential issues for each option. He installed confidence and made me feel like he actually cared about me as a person. I highly recommend him.

Dr Pihokken has such a calming demeanor and is very thoughtful and a great listener and explainer. His staff were all so kind and attentive and clearly liked doing their jobs. There was a bit of a wait even tho there was only 1 other person in the waiting room, but having met Dr Pihokken - he prob didn’t rush them at all.

The doctor was absolutely amazing. He was so kind and listened to every issue I’ve been having. He was very gentle during exams and walked me through everything and made sure to have a female assistant by my side.
