“I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Shoman. He was extremely well- bedside mannered and polite, which made me feel comfortable right away. His office was spotless and very well maintained, and his personal professionalism and cleanliness were evident. He took the time to explain everything in detail, using visuals and published pictures to help me understand what he was saying. I really appreciated how he broke down medical terms into simple, layman’s language.
He listened carefully to all of my concerns, never rushed me, and was right on time. He was also very polite and respectful when I was told to undress, which helped me feel at ease. Most importantly, he did not judge me when I mentioned that I was a virgin, and that meant a lot to me. Overall, Dr. Shoman was thorough, kind, and professional, and I would highly recommend him.”

Dr. Shoman was great. He listens, is very knowledgeable, and seems to care for his patients. However, the main person at the front desk that answers the majority of the phone calls is quite confrontational. Every time I speak to her on the phone my blood pressure goes up as she tells me that I’m either misinformed or that I don’t know what I’m talking about. It’s very difficult to speak with her since she is so defensive and confrontational. As a patient I shouldn’t feel this level of anxiety when speaking on the phone with the doctor’s office.

Short wait times and the front office staff and nurses were so nice and helpful. However the doctor came in so fast and dismissive. He barely spoke and didn’t ask any follow up questions.
