About Dr. Addison Wilson
For 24 years, my medical career was in service to our country. I was honored to complete 24 years of active military duty in May 2025. For the last nine of those years, I cared for Marines stationed in the Beaufort area. During my time in the service I gained extensive experience in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, particularly those affecting athletes and active individuals. I have also spent much time studying joint replacement surgery and orthopedic trauma.
I am dedicated to providing comprehensive care to every patient I see, from diagnosis and non-operative management of orthopedic conditions to advanced surgical interventions when indicated. Whether you are dealing with a broken bone, a ligament tear, cartilage damage, joint instability or another orthopedic concern, I will present you with all your treatment options and help you choose the one that is best for you. I use advanced arthroscopic techniques, minimally invasive surgery and advanced arthroplasty so you can get just the care you need to achieve your treatment goals.
I was born and raised in West Columbia, South Carolina, where I was proud to earn the rank of Eagle Scout. I have always enjoyed staying active, and I even played rugby at the U.S. Naval Academy. Nowadays, I love spending time with my wife and three grown children. My wife and I love traveling, and I love eating anything my wife bakes!
