He is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Triological Society, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Ong earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Boston College, graduating cum laude, and received his medical degree from the University at Buffalo, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed a clinical research fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina, followed by residency training in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at the University at Buffalo. He then completed a prestigious Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship sponsored by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Fort Worth, Texas, where he received advanced training in rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, facelift and eyelid surgery, facial trauma reconstruction, skin cancer reconstruction, sleep surgery, and complex sinus surgery. Dr. Ong performs surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, Midtown Surgery Center, and Gramercy Surgery Center. He has authored numerous scientific publications and presentations and is passionate about advancing surgical education and patient care.
