About Dr. Adriana Garcia Aybar

Dr. Garcia is a board-certified optometrist with a focus in contact lenses, dry eyes, myopia and medical care of conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration. She received her bachelor’s of science degree in biological sciences from Florida Atlantic University. She later on received her optometric and vision science degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. Dr. Garcia completed her externship rotations at the West Palm Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center and South Florida Laser Eye Center in Plantation, Florida. While at NSU, Dr. Garcia was the president of the organization Students Volunteering Optometric Services to Humanity; she was also part of the executive board of the Florida Student Optometric Association. She enjoys participating in medical mission trips, traveling around the world and spending time with her cat and dog.
