In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
A primary care provider serves as the captain in navigating a patient's healthcare needs by addressing physical and mental health through preventative care, regular check-ups, and managing various chronic conditions. Additionally, they play an important role in recognizing and addressing behavioral and mental health concerns through counseling, prescription medications, and coordinating referrals to specialists when appropriate. This integrated approach aims to holistically care for the patient's overall health and well-being.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
Staying active: tennis, resistance training, and hiking. Exploring the great outdoors. Spending quality time with my wife, children, family, and close friends.

Doctor Ahmed is extremely patient. As a foreigner, I’m not very familiar with the process of online consultations and physical exams in the U.S., but the doctor patiently explained everything to me.
