About Dr. Alana Niedermaier
Dr. Alana Niedermaier is a caring and compassionate OB-GYN. As a part of her education, she obtained her medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine. Later, she completed a residency at Staten Island University Hospital.
Serving the neighborhoods of Staten Island, NY, Dr. Niedermaier works with the clinics of Northwell OBGYN. She treats patients for pregnancy problems, vaginal discharge, and urinary tract infections. She also conducts sessions for pap smear examinations, OB-GYN follow-ups, general consultations, and annual physicals.

I booked this appointment via ZocDoc. My appointment was for 7/19 at 12:45 pm, I called the office to inform them that I would be 5 mins late because I got off at the wrong exit and when I called the number (718-981-5900) no one picked up and there was a message saying the office was closed. I left a voice message regardless apologizing for being late but saying I was on my way and hope they were open because I received a text message confirming my appointment. I arrive pay for parking and make my way up to the 3rd floor and they were indeed closed. I stood for 15 mins hoping someone left for coffee and would return but no one did. I called and left another voice message stating how disappointed I was and how unprofessional it was to confirm an appointment have someone travel to the office and no one be there. I advise no one to book with this office or doctor!

Dr. Neidermeyer came very highly recommended from Dr. Sarah Friedman my uro gynecologist.I have seen a lot of gynecologist for my endometriosis and pelvic floor dysfunction. Most of them were not helpful and we didn't see eye to eye on the treatment plan, diagnosis, etc. Dr. Neidermeyer and her team are very thorough, have exceptional bedside manner, are incredibly intelligent, very empathetic, great listeners and all-around amazing. I'm very happy to have made an appointment with her and look forward to maintaining her as my lifelong gynecologist!
