About Dr. Albert Skocik

Dr. Albert Skocik, has been helping patients from Harrisburg and the surrounding communities enjoy reduced pain and improved health for over 30 years. After completing his pre-chiropractic studies at Penn State University, Dr. Skocik obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he learned many healing chiropractic techniques such as spinal adjustments, extremity manipulation, and traction. Dr. Skocik started providing chiropractic care in private practice in May 1989. Dr. Skocik possesses advanced training in chiropractic rehabilitation, applied kinesiology, cervical injury treatment, diagnostic x-rays, electromyography testing, physical demand testing, and other specialized services and techniques. Dr Skocik grew up the youngest of nine children in a small coal mining town. He served in the Army Reserves as a combat medic. Dr Skocik enjoys riding his bike, dancing, listening to music and spending time reading books. He also loves spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and dogs, Holly and Charlie.
