Getting to know Aleis Pugia
Life can be overwhelming to navigate at times, and sometimes our previous ways of coping simply are not enough for us anymore. I strive to collaborate with patients to help them better understand how their current ways of interacting with themselves and others impact their daily lives. My work focuses on helping you understand your body and mind better and helping rebuild trust in yourself as you learn new skills to move forward.
My approach emphasizes interpersonal connections as well as the mind-body connection. I work from a compassionate, trauma-informed lens. I enjoy working with all patients but have specialty training in trauma, perinatal mental health, anxiety, depression, chronic pain & illness, and insomnia.
