About Dr. Alejandra Palmeros-Irvine
Dr. Alejandra Palmeros-Irvine grew up in South Texas and speaks both English and Spanish. Her family moved from Mexico to Laredo, Texas when she was 4 years old and since then she has become acclimated to her environment like a true Texan. For her undergraduate studies, she attended Texas A&M University in College Station. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science. She went on to pursue a medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. It was at this time that she met her future husband and partner, Timothy E. Irvine.
Dr. Palmeros continued her training and completed her internship and residency at UTMB’s Family Practice Residency Program in Beaumont/Port Arthur, Texas.
She moved to Houston with her husband in June of 2000. She began her career by working “relief” for medical offices around the greater Houston area and surrounding cities. In October 2001, she joined a private practice and helped in establishing a new office in the Woodlands, Texas.
Recently, she has partnered with her husband, Dr. Timothy E. Irvine and long time friend and colleague, Dr. Rohit K. Kashyap to establish IKP Family Medicine in Northwest Houston.
Outside of the office, Dr. Palmeros enjoys spending time and raising her children, Gabriella, Isabel and Christian.
