Dr. Alethia DuPont, PsyD

Dr. Alethia DuPont, PsyD

Psychologist
FL
Of West Indian descent and having traveled, if not lived, in most of the United States due to my immigrant father’s employment, growing up was a constant trend of exploration and encounters with new people and cultures. Thus, the field of psychology was a clear path for me. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology and a Master of Arts in Psychology, both from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. I also received a Doctor of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) with a Certificate in Clinical Hypnosis and Substance Abuse Counseling from Adler University in Chicago, Illinois. I welcome you here today and commend you for taking that first step in recognizing that you may be weighed down by life circumstances, childhood trauma, self-doubt, and insecurities that disrupt your ability to concentrate, connect with others, or simply experience day-to-day joy. Deciding to tackle root causes, learn and unlearn, and become your true self is hard, but know you are not alone. I am here with you. We can embark on a path of healing together so you may become the best version of yourself.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
