About Dr. Alex Seegmiller

Dr. Seegmiller grew up in the Salt Lake City area. He graduated from the University of Utah in 2014, and then went on to Samuel Merritt University Collet of Podiatric Medicine, completing his Podiatry degree in 2020. Dr. Seegmiller completed his residency in 2024 at the VA in Loma Linda California before returning to Salt Lake City and joining AFAC. Today, Dr. Seegmiller finds immense joy and fulfillment in performing surgery. Throughout his residency, he was recognized for his excellent surgical skills. His deep expertise in podiatric surgeries, particularly specializing in bunion surgeries, enables him to navigate every procedure with precision and confidence. He is truly accomplished in Podiatric Surgery and takes great pride in his work. Outside of work, Dr. Seegmiller enjoys spending time with family. He and his family are accomplished in bouldering, and rock climbing, finding joy and challenge in the great outdoors. He is also passionate about music and enjoys playing guitar, and making music with his wife, a violinist, and son, who rocks out on the drums! Finally, he finds catharsis in knitting. He cherishes living life, and embracing every moment with passion and authenticity. Dr. Seegmiller supports patients in both English and Swedish.
