Dr. Nicolaides attended the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, where he earned his medical degree. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center. He then completed his residency at New York University, where he was the chief resident.

I haven’t been to a dermatologist in a few years and had developed some small growths around my nose that I worried might be cancerous (I spent a lot of time in the sun and tanning beds when I was younger). I saw one of the other Dr.s in the practice and she was terrific. I waited around 10 minutes, told her my concerns, and she removed all three growths and assured me that only 1 was suspicious. She really put me at ease. I was in and out an around 30 minutes.

I was not able to see the doctor unless i provided a credit card for future billings. they explained that it was office policy but i told them i would pay for a procedure when the time comes but to have a card stored by the office and authorizations pre-signed was unethical and unauthorized.

I have been seeing Dr. Nicolaides for 10+ years. He is thorough, professional and a top doctor. He has reared my for several skin issues and has also performs biopsy’s. He has left no scars and it detailed and careful. I have recommended this doctor to many friends over the years.

It was ok. He’s assistant was more polite and interested than he was. Told me allergies, which I already know I have, and prescribed something I that wasn’t very helpful. Told me to come back for patch testing. Not sure what that will do.

The receptionist was very nice and comforting. Paperwork and everything went smoothly. However, I wasn't even seen by Dr. Nicolaides. I was seen by a different doctor, which was fine but I would've liked to be informed beforehand. Although I was helped completely and got the right prescriptions I needed, the female doctor made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Kind of as if the problem I came there for was contagious, when it was not at all. There was just a very strange and uneasy vibe. Other than that, visit was good.

I was led to a treatment room and told the doctor would be two minutes. I waited 25 minutes before anybody showed up. I was also told they didn’t have my ZocDoc info and that I’d have to fill out a new form. (They did have my info, but only after I insisted the look again.)

I’ve been coming hear for years due to hyperpigmentation and acne I know I can’t get 100% clear skin but my treatments here have been amazing the PAs are attentive the doctor is knowledgeable and the the overall staff is considerate and helpful so long as you speak up. You get what you give great office new office so adjustment time is expected

Great staff and the doctor was excellent whenever I got to see him. They were very busy but I shouldn’t be waiting more than 1-1/2 hours after my scheduled appointment time to see the doctor. All together I was there for 2 hours. Seems to be a theme if you look at other reviews.
