About Dr. Alexander Yanovskiy
Growing up in a family of physicians gave Dr. Alex Yanovskiy an immersion into patient care and the medical field from an early age. Driven by his passion for patient-centered care, he founded Illinois Foot & Ankle Clinic in Des Plaines, Illinois.
Dr. Yanovskiy earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago. He completed his internship and a three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Sacred Heart Hospital in Chicago, excelling in both surgical and general podiatric care.
He specializes in diabetic foot care, bunions, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, plantar warts, sports injuries, and pediatric foot care for congenital deformities and developmental concerns. Dr. Yanovskiy is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American Diabetes Association and regularly mentors new podiatrists through residency programs and office rotations.

I felt he was always criticizing your insurance and pressuring you to pay cash. He pushes surgery on young kids just beaus ether have flat feet and other doctors disagreed with his consult. Waiting was always long. He needs to work on taking care of patients not his pocket.

I did not like that I got no discharge papers. I do not exactly remember the stretches that I was supposed to do and for how long. Did not like the fact that he tried soliciting foot inserts for my shoes that cost over $400. If I could afford to waste $400 I would not be on Medicaid.

I felt somewhat rushed through the whole process was not exactly embraced warmly. The staff were somewhat cold and it felt like they were just going through the motions. Then I was written a prescription at the end of the visit, which I found out when I made it to the pharmacy later that night, that the wrong patient's name was written on the subscription, so needless to say it could not be fulfilled.
