About Dr. Alexis Barrett

Fascinated by the human body from a young age, Dr. Barrett always knew she wanted to help people live healthy, pain-free lives. After receiving chiropractic treatment following a traumatic brain injury sustained while playing soccer in high school, she realized that becoming a chiropractor was the perfect way to make a difference. Dr. Barrett earned her Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Midwestern State University. She then pursued graduate studies at Parker University, where she obtained both a Master's degree in Neuroscience and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. As a new mom herself, Dr. Barrett has a special passion for treating pregnant women and their babies. Having recently experienced pregnancy and childbirth, she deeply understands the benefits of chiropractic care during this important time. Born and raised in Prosper, TX, Dr. Barrett married her high school sweetheart, and they welcomed their first baby girl in July 2022. The three of them now live in Princeton, TX, with their two dogs. When she's not busy treating patients, Dr. Barrett enjoys doing puzzles, watching movies, and exploring the outdoors with her family.
