About Dr. Alycia Green
Dr. Alycia Green attended University of Houston College of Optometry, receiving her Doctorate of Optometry in 1999. She is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
Dr. Green has post-graduate training in pediatrics and vision development, including vision therapy and is a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development and the International Sports Vision Association. Vision Therapy is a branch of optometry that focuses on improving the communication between the eyes and the brain.
She and her husband of over 20 years live in Coppell, and they have two teenage boys. In her time outside the office, she and her family are outdoor adventurers and enjoy baking together. Additionally, she teaches preschool at church, and she and her sons serve together in Young Men’s Service League.

The office was very nice and Dr. Greene was very professional and offered some good advise on contact lens solution. The only down side was that there were some extra fees for tests that were done that I never had to pay for with my previous optometrist. Instead of paying my $10 copay, it cost me $159 out of pocket. Maybe all doctors are going to this, but I wasn't prepared for it. On a positive note, I did appreciate that they price match other stores (i.e.Costco) on their contact lenses and filed it with my insurance.
