Psychologist
52 Nashua St, Suite 19, Milford, NH
Hi, I’m Amanda Mead, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist working with adults who have experienced tough childhoods. My goal is to help you stop feeling overwhelmed and depressed and encourage healing and transformation. I’m no different from my clients. Like everyone, I’m human, shaped by both wonderful and difficult experiences that influence how I help. I’ve struggled with not feeling heard and knowing what it’s like to feel both too much and not enough. I deeply understand how childhood challenges can affect adulthood. Perfectionism, caretaking tendencies, and putting others first are ongoing challenges I personally know well. These experiences led me to become the Psychologist I am today. I earned my PsyD and Master’s in Psychology from Antioch University and my Bachelor’s from the University of New Hampshire. Being a Psychologist is an honor. I love helping people become healthier, more empowered, and watching them transform their lives. The most rewarding part is inspiring others to be all they can be. I am committed to encouraging your healing and transformation. I bring empathy, warmth, and understanding to sessions. I naturally: - Uncover what’s under the surface - Inspire hope for improvement - Accept people as they are in their current circumstances - Help clients heal their past and manage the present People say I’m a good listener who can sit with clients at their worst and truly hear them. Our sessions focus on you, providing space to be understood and heard. Feeling safe and comfortable, you’ll gain clarity and be truly seen. It’s important to me to provide a non-judgmental space where you can be yourself and create safety within sessions.
