About Dr. Amanda Orengo
As a high school athlete, I suffered a complex knee injury that sparked my journey to becoming a physician. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Quinnipiac University and went on to receive my Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin. I completed my Family Medicine residency at St. Luke's University Health Network in Warren, followed by a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
I sincerely enjoy working with a diverse population ranging from competitive athletes and weekend warriors to active members of the elderly community. I take pride in promoting wellness and exercise, and most of all, I love treating young athletes who walk in the same footsteps I once walked.
I connect with my patients through conversation, striving to understand their unique qualities, motivations, and life experiences. My medical treatments and plans are individualized and tailored to each person. It is both an honor and a privilege to learn and grow from the diversity of my patient population.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy horseback riding, all sports, volunteering at local animal rescues, gardening, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Orenga is a gentle and caring practitioner. My only suggestion is perhaps to be more forthcoming about possible treatment expectations. This helps with any anxiety that may develop when the patient is home.

No wait. Efficiently looked at my CD from my prior emergency room visit and identified identified issue the ER Doc had not found. Got me promptly scheduled for an MRI.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a doctor’s office. The doctor I made an appointment with refused to see me despite my concerns about a fractured sternum. They were under the assumption that my chest pains had to do with something else, but that absolutely was not the case. The pain that I’ve been enduring is directly in the bone of my sternum, but they still refused to take an x-ray to confirm they wanted me to go to urgent care first to get cleared to be seen because again they thought that my chest pains or something pulmonary related. i’m completely dumbfounded that they didn’t even take an x-ray. I will definitely be filing a complaint with Crystal Run Healthcare.
