“Great experience. Had never gone to a small practice based out of a townhouse so I was nervous at first. But Ameela was highly professional, friendly and very welcoming! I felt listened to as she took her time to hear my concerns and perform my exams. It was nice to get referrals and follow-up appointments scheduled to resolve some health concerns i've had, unlike some past experiences where my doctors visits felt short, quick, and not very attentive. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend for anyone needing a PCP!”

About Ameela Singh
Ameela Singh was born in Georgetown, Guyana, South America and she was raised in Prince George's County, MD. As a youth, Ameela was always drawn to caring for others. It was inevitable that Ameela would pursue a career in medicine.
Ameela obtained her Bachelor of Science at the University of Maryland. She then focused her career path in nursing, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marymount University and her Master of Science in Nursing from The George Washington University. She was on the Dean's List at each institution and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the Nursing Honor Society.
Her medical experience spans many specialties and fields. She began as an RN at The George Washington University Hospital, where she served in the NICU and various Med-Surg areas, including Acute Stroke, Pulmonary Care, Neuro, Ortho, Oncology, and other medicine services. As a Nurse Practitioner, Ameela has experience in acute primary care, preventative, and functional medicine. She has a strong desire to continue serving her community. Her one goal, if asked, "is to leave a tiny footprint in someone's life".
CDCM was born as a house-call service (and still has this option) and is now a concierge style practice that is placed within the comfort of a "home style" setting keeping the them going; decreasing the tension and discomfort that traditional offices have. Our office is never over-booked to respect your time and ours; Please book if you fully intend on keeping your appointment as this slot if valuable to someone else who is in care. I moved states and needed a new PCP. I found Ameela Singh on Zocdoc and I was very pleased to find that she did teledoc appointments, even being a new patient. She called me at my designated appt time, and listened to my needs (prescription refills), and called them in for me. She offered suggestions to some of my ailments using over the counter medicines as well. I was satisfied with her care and would definitely recommend her to family and friends.

Dr. Singh was very friendly upon arrival. The office was very warm and welcoming. She was very caring and allowed me to voice my concerns and she was not dismissive in that regard. It being my first appointment either her she asked many questions to get familiar with my health background and my family history.
