Hi, I’m Dr. Amrita Mukherjee, DO. I specialize in family medicine and general practice, focusing on whole-body and mind care. I am dedicated to delivering personalized, high-quality care with empathy, care, and respect. I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University and hold a master’s degree from The George Washington University. My training includes a residency in Internal Medicine at Tampa Bay Heart Institute and a residency in Family Medicine at Broward Health Medical Center.

Unpleasant, rude, condescending, and unprofessional. Do not recommend. The appointment was simple enough but the Dr. was offended by a question and the visit soured. After office manager intervention, the Dr. still attempted to talk over me and say that I was wrong.

The doctor and staff were very understanding and accommodating. It was pleasant to go to this doctor and office.
However, I am very disappointed in their process to allow me to contact my doctor. I can't call the doctor at the office - I go thru a switchboard/operator that handles all calls for tru-Health. I called on Wednesday with a question regarding a procedure the following day. The operator said my message would be passed onto my doctor who would contact me. I received no reply. Today, (Monday) I called again at 9:15 am to follow up. I spoke to the operator and explained I need to be able to speak to my doctor. It is now almost 3 pm (6 hours later) and I have had no return response. Not being able to speak to my doctor is the reason I left my last primary care physician. I see that they are "updating their phones" but this is UNACCEPTABLE, SAD, DISAPPOINTING. I was also shocked that the operator could open my chart - how many others can?

I had a great experience at Tru Primary & Urgent Care. From the moment I walked in, I was kindly greeted by the front desk staff. They were very personable, knowledgeable and helpful while preparing me for the appointment. Dr. Mukherjee was informative, reasonable paced; she answered all of my questions and overall, provided great medical care.

Here's how it went. I waited about 15 minutes which was fine. Then I was taken to an examination room which was fine. There was where I waited, seen briefly, then I waited and waited and waited. When I came out to see what was going on. There was no one to be seen. What?! Everybody took a coffee break at the same time? Well, they could have invited me. The coffee machine in the reception area barely worked so the coffee was horrible. If it wasn't for another patient in reception, I wouldn't have gotten any at all. I picked this place because I grew up in India and I know how important good education is to them. Well, the education is useless if the person who got it isn't there. Would I recommend this place to someone else? Absolutely Not!!

I liked the experience with my new PCP. She was informative, friendly, and picked up on something I suspected I needed from my body language which I think was awesome. She has given a clear plan on how we are going to evaluate my issues and options down the road. She is a GOOD doctor, and Im glad I made the choice to have her as my Primary Care Physician.

The appointment was really smooth. I was sent couple of notifications before my visit to remind me of the appointment . The staff took us in and made us comfortable and explained the entire onboarding process. Since, it was my first visit- I was informed about my insurance type, fees and everything. The doctor took us in within few minutes of my arrival and was very calm and patient. She listened very carefully and explained the root cause of my problem and drove me right through the precautions that I needed to take. Overall, my experience was wonderful and I would highly recommend Dr Mukherjee to everyone who is looking for a calm and comforting doctor around Leesburg and the area
