About Dr. Amy Lawrence
Dr. Amy Lawrence hails from Milwaukee, WI where she spent most of her childhood. She began her career after graduating from Health Enrichment Center, Inc. in Lapeer, MI with a massage therapy diploma in 1998. After she relocated to the southwest, she continued her undergraduate studies and worked for a local chiropractor who would later become her mentor. After seeing the marked difference many patients experienced while under chiropractic care combined with the massage therapy she provided, her mind was made up. Dr. Lawrence graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX in 2004 where she also received her bachelor’s degree in anatomy. She has since continued her training for both credentials by taking post-graduate courses in myofascial release, Trager Method, myokinesiology, posture/balance, nutrition, and rehabilitation. Amy married fellow chiropractic student, Dr. Joseph Lawrence, after graduating from Parker in 2004. In January of 2005, they decided to move to Northern Alabama to start their careers and build a family. They have been working in the Huntsville area for over 10 years! They have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Mia Kate and Sydney Anne. Dr. Amy loves how she is able to utilize her 20+ years of soft tissue training and interest in exercising in Healthsource’s “ladder of health” philosophy.
