SelfWorks is a group private practice. Our licensed therapists are culturally competent and help individuals from all ethnic, socio-economic and religious backgrounds.

SelfWorks’ director, Dr. Amy Vigliotti, is a Child and Adult psychologist. She uses psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral and/or artistic methods to help patients flourish. In session, Amy is supportive, active and collaborative. When she is not in the office, she is leading interactive workshops in mindfulness and healthy living, with her CD, Unwind: Guided Relaxation.

Dr. Natasha Stovall is a psychologist with a wide range of experience helping children, adolescents and adults work through life's difficulties. Whether it is loss or trauma, conflicts in relationships, parent-child challenges, school or work problems, or developing healthy ways of earning and spending, she uses a engaging direct, playful and interactive approach to help people clarify problems; learn and apply strategies to minimize negative thoughts and behaviors; and cope more effectively with painful emotions.

Over the course of her career she has worked in a variety of contexts, from private practice to state psychiatric hospitals, which has provided a knowledge base spanning psychiatric symptomology and diagnosis, neuropsychology, 12-step work, DBT and mindfulness practices, and cognitive, psychodynamic, existential and psychoanalytic theories of human experience.

In sessions, she prioritizes humor and warmth, while drawing primarily from psychodynamic, interpersonal, and cognitive-behavioral techniques. A core element of her work is nurturing healthy self-reflection, so that problematic patterns loosen and become less likely to recur in the future. Under the curse of my treatment I was able to ask for various skills to accommodate my current needs. Overall, Dr. Vigliotti is a thoughtful therapist who genuinely cared about my experience. I have met with many therapists and Dr. Viglioti is by far the most understanding, insightful, and knowledgeable. While still being sure to maintain the sessions focus on the client and guiding them through self-discovery and empowerment. Very comfortable office and overall experience. I highly recommend this therapist.
