He did not try to determine what kind (if any) of support system I had or if there was any risk of me trying to hurt myself. The answer to improving mental health care in California is to increase the number of practicing psychiatrists so that patients can rely on getting thorough assessments, appropriate medications and careful follow-up. Do you know how it feels to try to share critical info about how you are feeling when the doctor cannot even look at you because he/she is too busy typing the notes? I know it will be difficult to fix

I am a board-certified psychiatrist with years of experience. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from St. George's University School of Medicine and completed my residency at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center. What makes me unique is that I utilize a multidisciplinary approach when treating each patient, taking into account multiple variables and tailoring treatment accordingly. While I have some areas of particular interest, there is nothing under the umbrella of mental health that I feel uncomfortable treating. Most patients find me to be down to earth, relatable, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Furthermore, I do my best to stay up to date on current treatment options, medications, and modalities, and I consistently incorporate lifestyle changes and improvements into care. We also offer Spravato Treatments and TMS services in the clinic.
What should a new client know about working with you?
As a psychiatrist, I provide a compassionate, evidence Based approach to care tailored to Each individual's unique needs. I believe in creating a safe non judgmental space where we can work collaboratively to understand your experiences, set meaningful goals, and build a treatment plant that supports both healing and growth. Whether you are navigating anxiety, mood changes, trauma or life transitions, my focus is on helping you feel understood, empowered and supported throughout your journey.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
In our first session, I'll begin with comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to understand your current concerns, medical and mental health history, and overall life context. This diagnostic process helps us identify underlying issues and determine the most appropriate treatment options. Based on your needs and preferences treatment may include medication management, supportive therapy or a combination of both. Follow up sessions are focused on monitoring progress, adjusting treatment as needed, and providing ongoing support.My approach is collaborative and personalized my goal is to help you feel heard,informed and actively involved in your care.
