Dr. Andrea Johnson cofounded Total Women's Health and Wellness Center Inc. in 2007. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and has been in practice for over 18 years. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed her residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York. After moving to Georgia, she joined the faculty of Morehouse School of Medicine, where she served on staff for 10 years. She was an associate professor before leaving to enter private practice.
Dr. Johnson’s area of interest is minimally invasive gynecology. She manages many gynecological problems such as abnormal bleeding, fibroids, and abnormal Pap smears. She performs infertility work-ups and conducts urodynamics as part of the evaluation for urinary incontinence. She also performs the in-office sterilization procedure, Essure, as well as several other in-office procedures.
