About Dr. Andreas Boker
Dr. Andreas Boker is a board-certified and fellowship-trained dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon with over 15 years of experience. He has been recognized as a “Top Doctor in the New York Metro Area” by Castle Connolly for five years in a row and was named one of New York Magazine’s Top Doctors in 2021.
Dr. Boker completed his surgical internship at Tufts/New England Medical Center, followed by a dermatology fellowship at the Brigham and Woman’s Hospital of Harvard Medical School. He then completed his residency at the Department of Dermatology of the University of Texas Southwestern, one of the top 10 residency programs in the country, serving as chief resident during his senior year. He pursued additional fellowship training at the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine, where he specialized in Mohs micrographic surgery and cosmetic/procedural dermatology.
Dr. Boker is on faculty at the Department of Dermatology at NYU-Langone Medical Center, where he has served as an Assistant Professor for over 10 years, teaching surgical and cosmetic dermatology to dermatology residents.
He specializes in cosmetic and procedural dermatology and has ample experience with a wide array of cosmetic treatments, including Botox Cosmetic/Dysport injections, facial contouring with injectable fillers, laser surgery, microneedling/skin resurfacing, chemical peels, hair restoration with PRP, and double chin fat reduction with Kybella injections. He is committed to offering comprehensive dermatologic care to all of his patients, including conducting skin cancer surveillance and treatment and treating complex medical dermatological conditions.
Dr. Boker grew up in Mexico City and is fluent in English, Spanish, French, and German. His hobbies include contemporary art, baking, and travel. He is also a passionate opera lover and an avid swimmer and cyclist.
