About Dr. Andrew Fink
Dr. Andrew Fink, recognized as a 2019 NJ Top Docs recipient, is proud to remain an independent, solo practitioner in an era of great change in medicine. When you come into his office, you will see Dr. Fink—every time. His practice philosophy is to provide one-to-one, highly attentive, personal care for each patient—the way medical care was meant to be.
Dr. Fink was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1970. After completing four years of undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in animal physiology and neuroscience. He then attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Fink stayed at Einstein for his residency in internal medicine and an additional year as chief resident. After finishing his training, he began practicing medicine in Bergen County.
Dr. Fink has been on staff at Hackensack University Medical Center since 2001. For a time, he served as Medical Director of Bariatric Surgery but now prefers to spend more time in direct patient care.
In addition to his office practice and seeing patients at Hackensack University Medical Center, Dr. Fink also cares for patients at Prospect Heights Care Center, a subacute rehab facility.
Dr. Fink sees patients as young as 16, and his oldest patient lived to be over 106. He also has many families who see him regularly. He finds it truly wonderful to care for three generations within one family.
