About Dr. Angela Niezgoda
Dr. Niezgoda brings a compassionate, hands-on approach to women’s health at North Shore Associates. Her clinical passions include robotic surgery, high-risk obstetrics, and guiding women through the transitions of menopause. Early experiences on medical mission trips sparked her calling to care for women, and today she is devoted to supporting patients at every stage of life—from adolescence through menopause. Dr. Niezgoda believes in empowering women to take an active role in their health, and she is deeply committed to education, advocacy, and shared decision-making in every aspect of care.

She listened to my concerns and explained everything clearly without making the appointment feel rushed. Allie the nurse and the phlebotomist were both so friendly and sweet. Dr. Niezgoda was a Godsend! I live in Downtown Chicago, and many of the Gynecologists were booked 3 months out. Dr. Niezgoda had immediate availablity and glowing reviews, so I made a special trip up to Wilmette to see her. So glad I did! No wait, clean, beautiful office and wonderful staff. The was absolutely the smoothest experience I ever had for annual gyno exam/pap smear which are usually stressful and painful for me. She has a wonderful bedside manner. I instantly felt comfortable, talking about any sensitive issues. She was also very thorough and a great listener. I took a cab from downtown Chicago, but immediately noticed that the CTA Purple Line (Linden Stop) is right across the street!

Dr Niezgoda was very friendly and professional. It was my first time seeing a gyno and getting a pap smear, let alone a pelvic exam so I was nervous but the friendly front desk staff & medical assistant was very sweet and made me feel at ease before seeing my doctor. Dr Niezgoda was very gentle and made sure to explain everything as it was happening. It went by super quick but didn’t feel rushed. Definitely recommend!

I am very grateful for the experience I had with Dr. Angela. I am newly pregnant and extremely anxious and the fact she got me in and listened to me this early on meant a lot. I also appreciate her understanding I wanted labs done and we were able to order those which gives me the peace I need this early on. I'm so happy I found her this early on in my pregnancy.

I had a really great experience with Dr. Niezgoda, but also with the whole office in general. I was coming in to discuss some sensitive and scary health stuff and everyone made me feel so at ease and cared for and listened to. The warmth of the staff was accompanied by a really suprising speed of service as well. Not only did I not have to wait to be seen, but they were able to schedule me for additional services (blood test and ultrasound) immediately, same day, while I was in the building. I received results extremely quickly. Overall I had a really positive experience! I wish all my drs appointments went this smoothly. I will definitely be coming back for any future gynecologist appointment.
