I have keratoconus and was previously seeing a different doctor for scleral lenses when I started to get bad vibes. I did some digging online and found Pillai and decided to book an appointment. The experience was superb. The staff explained each step of the exam process, made sure I felt comfortable, etc. Overall, the scleral lens fitting process was way more detailed than my previous experiences, which is a positive thing in my opinion as more data points for the lens customizations seems better than fewer data points.
I can’t wait for my new scleral lenses to come in!”

He was raised in Sugar Land, Texas, where he attended school through his sophomore year of high school before continuing his education at the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science in Denton, TX. Dr. Pillai was incredibly kind and patient with my elderly mother during her eye exam. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure she was comfortable throughout. It's rare to find a doctor with such compassion.

SUPERB SERVICE!!! The doctor and staff at Evolutionary Eye Care made my visit comfortable from the start. Dr. Pillai explained every test that was conducted and set a clear path for me to get to clear and healthy vision. Dr. Pillal and his staff have been the best for my keratoconus condition. His use of new technology to measure my condition, and knowledge of the best course of action for the best vision, has been unlike anything I have experienced since my original diagnosis 15 years ago. Dr. P. has been great at communication and helping us understand orthokeratology. He was good at responding when our child had a scratch on his eye. We're very happy with the Ortho-K option and with the care Dr. P. has given. Would heartily recommend it.

All the way from Qatar, I traveled here for a medical visit for my Keratoconus and had an excellent experience, thanks to Dr. P. and his expertise. The medical staff was also very welcoming and professional, especially Mays, who was able to translate everything, making our visit hassle-free. All my concerns were addressed in detail, and my medical plan was explained to me clearly. I highly recommend Evolutionary Eye Care to anyone looking for outstanding care.
