Patient reviews for Dr. Anmar Mansour
Dr. Mansour was very personable. She answered my questions and gave me some suggestion for my problem. I think she is an excellent doctor.
Dr. anmar was recommended to me by a couple of clients of mines - due to her kindness and attentive ear . Today I got to experience that . Looking forward to our next encounters .
I just had an appointment with Dr. Mansour and she is great. However she had another doctor with her (if I can even call her that!) I don't know if she is her assistant or shadowing her, but she said something that really upset me. As soon as Dr. Mansour left the she looked at my daughter (who wears an eye patch for her strabismus) smiled at her and said... who are you? A one eye monster? My daughter replied and said "I'm not a monster".... and I repeated the same. It took me a few minutes to really comprehend how rude she had been by calling my daughter a monster! No kid who already struggles with vision, has to wear an eye patch wants to be called a "one eyed monster" this lady obviously had no bedside manners and should not be practicing!!!! I will NOT be coming back.
I am very unhappy with how my visits with Dr. Mansour have gone and I will no longer be working with her. For background, I just turned 23 years old and have never once had a period on my own. I have had hypothalamic amenorrhea due to my struggle with anorexia from age 8 to roughly 14 years old (hospitalized for 2 months when I was 12). I got a DEXA scan when I was 20 and was told I already have osteoporosis. Dr. Mansour advised me to get my bones rechecked after a year or so, which I did, and my bones did not get any better at all despite the doctor putting me on birth control. Once my DEXA scan results came in, I was finally able to get a call back from the doctor after about three weeks of me calling and leaving messages for her to call me back when she originally said she would the day after my appt. I then told her I would like to get my hormones checked, so she ordered me 5 different lab tests and told me she would call me in 1 week to discuss the results. I never received a call from the doctor, and had to again call several times to get her to finally call me back about another three weeks later. In the meantime, I had an office assistant send me my lab results via email. My labs were all fairly low, but my LH was extremely low (which I figured it would be due to my amenorrhea). I continued to leave messages with the office to have the doctor call me back because I wanted to discuss my results with her/go over treatment options/compare my old lab results to these ones. Dr. Mansour finally called me back and left a message stating that all of my labs are fine and to call her back if I have any questions. Clearly, she either forgot about the fact that I have never had a period on my own, the DEXA scan results that she had just talked with me about a few weeks prior, or she simply was just too busy to look into my chart (each time I visited the office I had to wait 30-60 minutes to even see the doctor and when the doctor came in she seemed like she had to rush through the appointment). I am a nurse and know very well that at 23 years old, the fact that I already have osteoporosis and have never had a period on my own are quite concerning. Dr. Mansour simply told me that I should go see an endocrinologist for my osteoporosis and since I am very into weightlifting, to continue working out as I do (although someone with hypothalamic amenorrhea is typically advised to not exercise and to eat in a caloric surplus so that the body has enough energy to maintain properly functioning reproductive organs, etc). I am very displeased with my experiences with this doctor and will not be back.
Love her. She is excellent and friendly and knowledgeable
She was very sweet and comforting
My experience with Dr. Mansour was great! She was very kind and professional during my appointment, the staff there was friendly and efficient in getting me checked in / out. I recently moved back to San Diego, am in the process of finding all my new primaries, and I think it’s safe to say that I’ve found my new OBGYN. I would highly recommend her to other women.
Very very quick appointment! Pap smear and vitals only - no fluff. I was able to be in and out of the office in less than 30 minutes, which was really nice!
She was very caring and respectful. I felt comfortable with her and all the nurses.
Doctor Mansour was competent and very nice with me. I am not fluent in English and she was patient to explain me each step of my appointment. She makes this appointment very agreable. I recommend her highly.
Dr. Mansour was personable, put me immediately at ease, and developed good rapport. Highly recommend. Great experience.
She is very sweet and professional, definitely has her patient's best interest at heart.
She’s the best!
Extremely comforting and realistic, did not seem "fake nice" only genuine. Front desk staff and the students are very nice as well! I'd recommend her to anyone who asks.
Dr. Mansour was very sweet and proactive. I look forward to seeing her again.
Always a pleasure - great doctor and nurses!
Will never again visit this office. Dr. Mansour was incredibly unprofessional during my appointment. Asked personal questions which I 100% understand, especially regarding sexual history, however she was blantantly judgmental over the fact that I was getting married at “such a young age” (22). Additionally, I was billed for an STI/STD panel despite opting out of one on my forms and never providing them with a urine/blood sample for them to even test me...
She is very professional & knowlagable. I went to her for a second opinion, she listened to me and studied my lab results, very relax explained what’s going on that I had nothing to be worry about. I felt totally calm and happy when I left the office. She is supper nice and staff are very friendly.
This was my first time seeing a gynecologist. The visit was fast, informative, and much more comfortable than I thought it would be!
She was very friendly and made sure to address all my questions or concerns. Definitely will see her again.
She’s a bit curt, but I liked her and the care overall.
The entire staff was great!!
No one likes going to the doctor's office, but I appreicate Anmar Mansour. She is always professional and I really enjoy her. You can tell she has a lot of clients but yet she always makes me feel as if I am her only one. Thank you!
I was super nervous but the staff and Dr Anmar were kind and pleasant. Great atmosphere!
I had recently moved to California and i looked up OBGYN online, found her office and i was so happy i did. She is an amazing Doctor. I now live in Mississippi and if i could I’d even fly out west just to see her. I highly recommend her and her staff. Professional, caring, and listens to you and answers any questions you have.
She was great! Quick and easy!
She is amazing and girls are perfect
The office staff were great and got me checked in right away. I was a new patient so the forms took some time to fill out which I assume might’ve affected the wait time/changed the order of patients. With that being said, I was still taken back within 30 minutes of my appointment time. Once I was taken back it was only about 5 minutes between getting into the room and Dr. Mansour coming in! She was very kind and listened to my concerns but you could tell she was very rushed/preoccupied with her long list of other patients. With that being said, she made me feel comfortable with my concerns and prescribed me medicine right away to address my issues. I would definitely go back if I had more concerns.
Dr. Mansour is the best!
Very kind and seemed to care!
Quick but very detailed! She is such a caring doctor! She makes sure I’m comfortable and happy with my visit!
As other reviewers mentioned, her office is very busy with a waiting room full of patients and medical students shadowing the nurses and doctors there. A student was present during my consultation. Dr Mansour saw me and I did feel she was a good doctor but it seemed as if there wasn’t time to sit afterwards so I could ask questions about my condition and medication. It did feel very rushed.
Love Dr mansour very nice person! This was my first time visit but definitely coming back .
Dr Mansour is a highly skilled Doctor and knows her stuff. I came to her because I was high risk and spotting in my 2nd trimester. Within 10 minutes, she diagnosed me with Placenta Previa via an in-office ultrasound, and put me on bed rest. I trust her with my baby's safety and am so happy she's my doctor!
I had made an appointment but it seems like they do not work with appointments. The Dr. was seeing many patients at ones and did not seem to have time for me. I had to wait many times for a while when she would go and take care of other patients.
Very hurried ultrasound (15sec maybe), doctor showed no signs of sympathy & gave a cold answer towards my situation. Left not knowing if I am going to have a healthy pregnancy or a miscarriage. Not really the experience I had hoped for our first doctor appointment. We will find out in two weeks.
Dr. Anmar Mansour has been amazing! She talks to you like you’re human. She understands what you want and don’t want and respects that. Her entire office has been the sweetest! Always keeping me updated and feeling completed! I would definitely recommend Dr. Mansour!
She’s incredibly compassionate- even about non medical issues. She is a wonderful doctor and person.
Dr Mansour is the best! I wouldn’t see anyone else!
10/10! My first visit and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Office was clean, staff was friendly and the doctor was amazing!
For my remainder of time in San Diego this is the practice I plan to use. Breath of fresh air without the judgements on serious issues. Will be back!!
Professional and personable.
It was my first time to an OBGYN and understandably an unsettling experience no matter the doctor. The appointment took 9 minutes including taking my vitals, talking about birth control, and getting a pap smear. I didn't have time to collect my thoughts to ask the questions and voice my concerns that I had prior to the appointment about different birth control options. Also, she questioned the legitimacy of my relationship. That being said, Dr. Mansour was nice - I just did not feel comfortable or listened to.
Dr. Mansour was so kind and immediately eased any anxiety I had about the visit.
She is very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Looking forward to my next appointment.
Dr. Mansour delivered our first son and did a fantastic job. She is a true professional. She is gentle, informative, precise, and fast. I would recommend her for any of your OBGYN needs.
The Dr. had very poor bedside manner. I was trying to explain some of my relevant history to her and she just wanted to speed through the appointment.
She was very fast and sweet!
