My nurse was very nice and explained the procedure when I asked questions. The doctor was really nice. She made me feel comfortable. She explained everything in a way I could understand. I was pleased with her plan for my heart care. Check out was so organized and easy. Overall I was very happy.”

About Dr. Anna Valina-Toth

Dr. Anna Valina-Toth earned a bachelor degree in chemistry at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated with a master degree in chemistry at the University of California in Santa Barbara, California. Dr. Valina-Toth then received a medical degree, as well as, a Doctor of Philosophy in physiology at Wayne State University School of Medicine. She continued her medical training by completing an internal medicine residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Valina-Toth then pursued a cardiology (cardiovascular disease) fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Dr. Valina-Toth has extensive research experience. During her MD/PhD training, Dr. Valina-Toth secured two prestigious research grants from the National Institute of Health (NIH), as well as, from the American Heart Association (AHA) where her grant application was ranked in the top 1%. She has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and has presented her work in national meetings. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology. She is fluent in Tagalog and is learning Hungarian and Spanish.
