“Every staff member from the front to the Dr to the phlebotomist were so wonderful.
As an overweight person, my doctors (gynecologists included) have always wanted to focus on my weight. What a breath of fresh air to not have to talk about my weight a single time. Not only that, I was given the OPTION to be weighed.
Roughly five years ago, just before I turned 28, I was turned away when I wanted my tubes tied because that doctor stated she "didn't know me well enough".
On my very first visit, Dr. Schufreider discussed scheduling me for the procedure. Didn't ask me if I was sure, if I wanted to think about it, if my partner was okay with it... only agreed that it is my body to make the choice about.
Nothing felt rushed, in a good way. The place was clean and quiet. They had some relaxing jazz music playing in the lobby. The exam room was a little warm for my taste but the lobby was a cool 68 with comfortable dimmed lighting. ”

I've had issues with gynos not listening to my concerns in the past & being completely dismissive. She listened to everything I had to say & explained all of her thoughts on what could be causing my painful periods. She also made me aware that because I get migraines with an aura I should not be on birth control with estrogen, which I've never been told before. Apparently it increases your risk of stroke, so kind of a big deal. I've never left a doctor's office feeling so heard until now. I absolutely recommend her!

Dr. Schufreider was patient, attentive, and collaborative. She showed genuine care and concern. She explained the cause of my medical issue, took time to listen to my specific complaints and shared various treatment options, the pros and cons, and asked my preference prior to providing her recommendation. I would highly recommend her.

I knew I should have left after walking in and seeing the receptionist with her mask on, under her nose... The doctor was great. The nurse was great. The women that took my blood was unprofessional, unsanitary, and did something wrong, as my arm is still sore and hurts to move 24+ hours later and there is a large bruise in addition to a dark purple blotch under the skin; I had to ask the women to please change her gloves - she touched the door doorknob, hair, and many other things... completely unreasonable, unsanitary practice. It did look like there were specks of blood on the chair that they do the blood draw from (that's what it looks like, I didn't text the specks, so I don't know if that is indeed the case) I didn't realize it until I got up to leave, otherwise there is no way I would have let them draw my blood. I will not be going back.

The doctor and her nurse were wonderfully!!!! However there seems to be a disconnect at the front desk, they didn’t know who I was seeing, had me fill out paper that I had completed via the zocdoc app and needed all my insurance information again even though I had uploaded it to the app 3 weeks ago. Once you get past the front desk, things went very smoothly.

I am so happy that I found Dr Schufreider on ZocDoc. Not only was it convenient to make an appointment with a doctor that has a great background/credentials, I felt like she took the time to listen to my concerns. She's very sweet and easy to trust. The nurse and phlebotomist were very welcoming as well. I would recommend to anyone, especially younger women !

She was super friendly. Made me feel comfortable since getting a Pap smear can be awkward and uncomfortable but it went by so fast and she talked to me the whole time. Answered my questions and really took her time examining me. You can see that she cares for her patients. I would definitely recommend her if you are trying to find a new OBGYN. :)
