Dr. AnnMarie Whithed is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 17 years of experience helping people find their inner strength to overcome challenges. Dr. Whithed provides individual psychotherapy for adults age 24 and older, specializing in helping women and men overcome difficult, often painful past experiences and gain clarity and peace. Anything from our past that we have not made peace with can and will continue to affect our relationships, our work, and how we see ourselves and our world. Dr. Whithed helps those she works with make peace with the areas in their lives that are creating distress.

    I find that my visits with the doctor are very helpful. I truly have learned a lot about myself which has truly changed my life for the better. She always listens and follows you on what is on your mind and what is happening in your life.
    I have been a patient of Dr. Whited for several years. She has always been attentive, caring and has talked me through some difficult periods in my life. She helped me establish some coping habits that I can apply in my everyday life. I highly recommend Dr. Whited.
    After a few false starts at therapy, Dr. Whithed is the first psychologist with whom I felt I both felt safe and also saw tangible signs of improvement. She has been instrumental in helping me work through trauma based challenges, and my daily quality of life has improved since starting to work with her. She is knowledgeable about trauma and its effects, honest about healing being a journey and not a quick fix, and our shared Christian faith has been a meaningful bonus. She's been so valuable that even in a lapse of insurance coverage, I paid out of pocket to continue our momentum!
    During a difficult period in my life when my 63 year old husband had been hospitalized and my bonus dad was actively dying also the stress from work I was at the end of my rope and could not hold on any longer. Dr. Whithed was there weekly as I traveled this journey, she is foremost kind and caring but her wisdom and knowledge has helped me through the past year. Although I no longer need to meet with her weekly I do monthly check in. Sometimes its a short, what's new and sometimes I'm struggling with life. Please consider Dr. Whithed when seeking a trusting provider.
