About Dr. Anthony Diaz
Dr. Anthony Diaz earned his undergraduate degree in history at Kalamazoo College in Michigan and his medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his residency in the Conroe Family Medicine Residency Program, where he served as co-chief resident and a member of the program evaluation and recruitment committees.
Dr. Diaz, who is board-certified in family medicine, treats patients of all ages. In addition to his board certification, he holds certificates in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS) and advanced life support in obstetrics (ALSO).
He sees patients for a full range of primary care conditions with special interests in diabetes, hypertension, mental health and overall wellness.
His approach to patient care begins with listening. At the beginning of a visit, he does very little of the talking, allowing the patient to share what prompted the visit and ensuring that he doesn’t miss anything. He uses open-ended questions and collaborates with patients to determine their needs and the best fit for them health-wise.

Dr. Diaz is an excellent listener. He takes a wholistic view of your health and is truly concerned about your overall wellness. He is knowledgeable, patient and professional. He takes time to understand your concerns and issues. In addition to his own skill, he has an excellent support staff.
The office staff is great. His medical assistant is very helpful and thorough. I had to have some blood drawn during my visit and the phlebotomist quickly located an appropriate vein, made a painless insertion and finished up quickly and painlessly. Wish all blood draws could go so well.
Highly recommend this physician.
