He earned his M.D. from St. George's University College of Medicine and degrees from Hofstra University, New York University, and St. John's University. His post-graduate training includes fellowships in cardiology and advanced cardiovascular imaging at prestigious institutions such as Winthrop-University Hospital and NYU Langone Medical Center. His clinical expertise is complemented by international experience in hospitals across the UK, Israel, and the Caribbean, where he continues to teach, lecture and do clinical work. Dr. Tramontano is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and has contributed to research in cardiac cell death, endothelial function, atherogenesis, and cardiac imaging. His work has been recognized with awards and media appearances. He is certified in Adult Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiovascular Disease, and holds COCATS Level III credentials in multiple imaging modalities, including cardiac CT and MRI.
