What should a new client know about working with you?

I have worked with a range of clients in many settings - hospitals, community based clinics, private practices, and online therapy platforms. My approach to therapy is primarily from a cognitive behavioral lens. There are a lot of options out there for out-of-network therapists so I appreciate you taking the time to consider my services. I believe building rapport and a genuine connection with clients is the most important first step.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Therapy with me begins with an intake assessment session to discuss your concerns, strengths, and background/history. I will also give you more information about myself and answer any questions you have. We will work together to decide next steps. Typically, next steps include setting therapy goals and a plan for moving forward with sessions or recommendations from me if therapy does not seem like to best fit for a client's current needs.
