About Dr. Arash Taghavi
Dr. Arash Taghavi was born and raised in Southern California.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology from the University of California, Irvine and received a graduate degree with a Master of Science in Physiology from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. He then obtained his medical degree from Creighton University situated within both Omaha and Phoenix campuses.
Dr. Taghavi completed his internship and medical residency at UC Irvine Medical Center. He then continued his training at UCI for his fellowship in Cardiology. In the course of his training, he was awarded the fellow of the year award in 2018 within the department of medicine. He additionally served as Chief Cardiology fellow.

Dr. Taghavi is attentive, has exceptional bedside manners, listened closely to my concerns, got a full medical and cardiac history, and addressed them all. He considered all my symptoms, reviewed my past labs, and then ordered additional labs needed, to ensure he checked everything, even though I am younger, and I might be worried about my legs swelling and it was unlikely that it was a serious issue.
I appreciate that he took the time to also explain the reasoning and logic he was taking, in his course of action, and why he came to his conclusions. He still did his due diligence completing an echocardiogram to ensure everything was okay, and running blood work to make sure, since I have a family history of cardiac issues, that he was taking all preventative measures necessary. I arrived for my appt on-time and in less than 15 mins, vitals checked and Dr. Taghavi came in to see me. I recommend him to anyone looking for a great cardiologist.

dr. Taghavi spent his time listening to my concerns and was very thorough. He made me feel comfortable discussing my medical history, as many previous doctors were very dismissive. I would definetly refer him to a friend/ or/ family. Very positive experience.

He’s new to me and me to him, but he is very thorough and thoughtful of his patient’s personal concerns, at least he was with me. Without going into revealing my medical history, he actually reviewed the medical records beforehand and understood my concerns and hesitations. He ordered the appropriate amount of tests and I appreciate him being forthright and answering all my questions without attitude or judgment. He’s very pleasant and knowledgeable so, unlike other medical professionals who have spoken to me as if I was a child or lesser than, he is very respectful and listens and responds accordingly as if you’re his equal because I think he understands that you are when it comes to your personal health. It’s a partnership with each presenting their knowledge, skills, and experiences for a better result. I’ve found my new cardiologist and recommend you make an appointment to see if you have found yours with Dr. Taghavi.
