“My experience with Dr. Nouriel was wonderful.
In just one new patient appointment she was able to hear my medical history and offer useful information despite a diagnosis which is historically less well understood and with either surgery or no surgery and limited other options suggested. She didn’t do that. Dr. Nouriel offered a very smart, simple idea easy to execute to address the in between possible action to take.
She also went above and beyond to offer referrals as needed for her own follow up diagnostics as well as other providers she personally trusts to assist me as I had an insurance chance with a new job and was in need of all new doctors aside from her specialty. She didn’t hesitate to assist to fill any gap in care needed.
In short, she’s an incredible doctor to have on your side to take care of your needs and help you navigate both medical and health system complexities!

About Dr. Ariella Nouriel
Dr. Ariella Nouriel is a distinguished board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist based in vibrant New York City and is affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital. Obstetrician and gynecologist Dr. Nouriel completed her BS in Biomedical Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before attending medical school, Dr. Nouriel worked as a biomedical engineer and developed a comprehensive and team-oriented approach to medicine. She earned her medical degree at the Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine, where she was named outstanding student in obstetrics and gynecology. She went on to train at the world renowned Texas Medical Center in the heart of Houston at the University of Texas?Health Science Center. She served as administrative chief resident and was named outstanding chief resident.
After residency, Dr. Nouriel worked at faculty practice in the Upper East Side, providing care to a growing number of patients. With a passion for personalized care and a vision for innovation, Dr. Nouriel ventured into private practice, establishing her own practice in 2024. She fosters meaningful connections with her diverse patient base, and speaks both Hebrew and Spanish. Certified in laparoscopic and robotic surgery, she specializes in addressing conditions such as fibroids and abnormal uterine bleeding, and is dedicated to providing the most advanced care for her patients.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Nouriel remains actively engaged in medical education, mentoring residents and contributing to global health initiatives. I was very happy with the visit I had with Dr. Nouriel. She was incredibly kind, listened to my concerns, and gave me her professional opinion providing enough detail for me to understand as the patient.
The office staff was also very attentive and kind; communicating with me up until my appointment to ensure everything was in place.

I had been struggling to find a good Obgyn and put off getting my Pap smear for way too long due to iffy experiences with the big chains (Garden and Maiden).
Dr Nouriel listened, was informative, straightforward, and had a great bedside manner which put me at ease for a procedure that I truly dread.
She was great for discussing family planning, concerns, and providing sound advice.
Honestly this was such an informative and easy appointment; I don’t think I’ve ever written a doctor review but the burden off my shoulders from finding a comfortable, communicative, informative OB is huge and I really recommend Dr Nouriel

Dr. Nouriel is a professional who cares about her patients. She listens carefully and will take her time to explain the health issue to the patient. She will call you after work hours if it is needed to make sure that you get your information results on time and not being worried. If there is a problem outside of her expertise she will connect you with the right professional during your visit. Very caring and experienced.

My fourth visit to a gynecologist within eight months, I cannot recommend Dr. Nouriel enough. She was incredibly knowledgeable, made my exam as painless as possible, and was the first provider in many months to not dismiss my concerns. Dr. Nouriel was the perfect combination of professional and approachable, and I definitely will be using her practice for the foreseeable future.

Fantastic doctor! She took the time to answer all my questions (and I had a LOT), and suggested a new birth control after I explained the previous issues I'd had. When she wrote my Rx she made sure I'd have enough to last a while, since I travel overseas for work and can't always get to a pharmacy. Pap smear was quick and painless. Can't recommend her enough!
