“Dr. Chhitwal was awesome! It was my son’s first eye doctor appointment at 16 as a new resident to the US! He was patient, explaining astigmatism and sharing his own story of immigration and encouraging college. We left with new glasses he picked out from their vast selection. The front desk rep was helpful and I saw her demonstrating patience to another patient. I’ll return here and recommend to others.”

This is the worst office I have ever attended. I had referral for medical appointment with Dr. Ashish Chitwal, OD, but finally I have never met the doctor as he was out of office for some family emergency issues. My appointment was rescheduled 3 times during three weeks, 3 times I came to the office but Dr. Ashish Chitwal, OD was not there and nobody from the office called me regarding his absence.

Very friendly, very clear explanations. Patience of the saints, and no pushy sales tactics. They listen to what you want and need, and help you obtain it without derailing you to buy anything you don't want. Stress free environment, and thank goodness for Zocdoc helping me find them, because this is right beside someplace I shop, and with my tunnel vision, I had no idea it was there. Would recommend and will return when it is time.

everyone was super nice and price matched your help me with total price of everything i purchased to make sure i was highly satisfied. all the people in the office was really sweet and made me feel like i was cared about and my needs were listened to! always a great visit and didn’t take long for everything either when usually places take a long time. will definitely go back and tell other people to try them out also!

I had an excellent experience with Dr Chhitwal: He was thorough, engaged, listened and provided very thoughtful and helpful information. His technician, Nancy also was quite knowledgeable and provided excellent guidance in picking frames and lenses. It was a great overall experience.

They were perfectly nice, but missed the correct diagnosis and had me treating a viral eye problem with antibiotics. The problem cleared up after going to a different doctor.

Worst experience ever, will not be going back. Was charged an extra over-board amount, and didn't even let me know what it was for. When I asked, they said they have a new fee for contacts, but I didn't even purchase contacts. I just came for a general exam covered by my insurance with only 10 copay. But they wouldn't listen and will not be going back. Not advised.

It had been about 7 years since my last eye exam and I could tell I might need some help seeing at a distance. Prior to that I had never worn glasses or contacts. Chhitwal, OD, was able to dial in my vision quickly, and check my eyes for additional problems. Overall the staff was good, and I watched one of the chain managers deal with an elderly lady and she was amazing.
Some side notes that confused me:
He never really told me what my vision was even though I asked. When picking up my glasses from the front counter, the person handing me my glasses said I had an astigmatism. I was a little curious why this was not mentioned to me when I was being "diagnosed."

He is a great doctor, very professional, caring, considerate, and knowledgeable. The office was nice and comforting. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My wait time was long but only due to being a new patient with new insurance, and I did not have all of my information squared away before I came. Even still the staff was patient with me and helpful. The only down side to my visit was that not much information about the health status of my eyes was volunteered to me, however I will return and ask more questions next time. Again, this was a really great visit overall, and I will return.

I needed an eye exam and made an appt to see Dr. Chhitwal. I had gotten laser eye surgery 10 years ago and need to get my eyes checked yearly. Dr. Chhitwal is an amazing eye doctor. He also has one of the best personalities I have met. He was kind, down to earth and very caring. I could tell he truly loves what he does! :) I would definitely recommend him to anyone I know and I plan to go to him yearly for my checkup! :)
