At Brighter Beginnings Psychological Services, we believe healing starts with understanding. I specialize in accurate mental health diagnosis and have extensive training and experience in trauma, behavioral concerns, anxiety and mood disorders, psychosis, and self-harm/suicidal ideation. I also support individuals navigating family challenges and building meaningful supports.
With a Ph.D. from Walden University, I provide thoughtful, personalized psychological assessments to help individuals and families gain clarity and move toward emotional wellness. Above all, our goal is to be a trusted resource on your journey.
What should a new client know about working with you?
At Brighter Beginnings Psychological Services, we believe healing starts with understanding. I am a NYS Licensed Psychologist with over 10 years of experience and a Ph.D. from Walden University, specializing in both comprehensive psychological assessment and individual therapy for children (6+), adolescents, and adults.
My approach combines accurate, compassionate evaluations with personalized therapeutic support. I have extensive training and experience in working with neurodivergence, intellectual disabilities, personality disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, psychosis, trauma, suicidality, and self-harm. In both assessment and therapy, I help individuals better understand their strengths, challenges, and support needs—while guiding them through healing, growth, and change.
I also support individuals facing difficult family dynamics, life transitions, and emotional or behavioral concerns. Whether clarifying a diagnosis, addressing ongoing struggles, or managing complex symptoms, I provide thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each person’s unique experiences and goals.
