About Dr. Ashley Olivarez
Ashley Olivarez, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word's Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2017. She also earned her undergraduate degree in Vision Science from the University of the Incarnate Word. Dr. Olivarez is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Her special field of interest is myopia control.
Dr. Olivarez understood the importance of good vision after having worn glasses since childhood. She recalls that her doctor made her office eye exams very positive experiences. As a result, she became interested in optometry as her way to help others just as her doctor had helped her.
In practice since 2017, Dr. Olivarez values the relationships she builds with her patients and is passionate about having a positive impact on their lives by providing high-quality eye care.
In her time away from the office, Dr. Olivarez enjoys spending time with her fiancée and their English bulldog. She also enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants in her spare time.

As is always the case, my appointment was great. They are very nice and thorough in their care delivery. This is the only doctor I will go to and the only doctor I will use for my appointments. Dr. Olivarez is fantastic in every way you want your provider to be. I could not be happier with my level of care or their expertise. Great experience.

I had such a great experience with my eye doctor! From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. The doctor was incredibly thorough during the exam, took the time to explain everything clearly, and answered all of my questions with patience and care. I never felt rushed, and I truly felt like my eye health was their top priority.
The office was clean, modern, and well-organized, and they had a great selection of frames to choose from. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality eye care and a team that genuinely cares about their patients!
